Ocular Ultrasound

What is Ocular Ultrasound?

Ultrasound uses sound waves to create detailed images of the inside of your eye, especially when we can't see the retina clearly due to bleeding, cataract, or other issues.

Why it's done

It helps diagnose retinal detachments, tumors, or bleeding inside the eye.

What to expect

After numbing drops, we gently place a small probe over your closed eyelid. The test is painless and usually takes just a few minutes.
